Stride is pre-launch. Right now this website does exactly one thing with personal information: it takes an email address so we can tell you when the app is out. This page explains that in plain English.
What we collect
Your email address, and nothing else. The waitlist form has one field. We do not ask for your name, age, school, team, or location, and we do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies on this site.
Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider records standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We do not use that data to build a profile of you.
Why we collect it
To email you when Stride launches, and occasionally to share meaningful progress before then. That is the only reason. We will not send you unrelated marketing.
Where it is stored
Waitlist emails are stored with Loops, an email platform we use to hold the list and send the launch announcement. Your address is stored on their servers under our account and is subject to their security practices.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or other companies.
If you are under 18
Stride is built for sprinters, and many of them are school athletes. If you are under 13, please do not join the waitlist yourself. Ask a parent or guardian to do it, or to contact us on your behalf.
If we learn that we have collected an email address from a child under 13 without a parent’s involvement, we will delete it promptly. A parent or guardian can email us at any time to see what we hold for their child and have it removed. See below.
Getting your email removed
You can leave the list at any time, and it takes effect immediately:
- Click unsubscribe at the bottom of any email we send you, or
- Email adhibanarul@gmail.com and ask to be removed.
You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask for a correction. We will respond to any of these requests within 30 days, and there is no cost.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it, or until the waitlist has served its purpose after launch. If Stride never ships, we will delete the list rather than keep it.
Changes to this policy
If this changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page. When the Stride app itself launches it will collect more than an email address. Video, biomechanics measurements, and account details, and that will be covered by a fuller policy at that time. This page covers the website only.
